Today I passed my Air Law exam, and it feels like a huge milestone on the way to my first solo. To prepare, I used both easyPPL and Linda Wheeler’s ground school material. The combination worked really well, but I have to say I highly recommend easyPPL to anyone working through their exams. It condenses the information into something much more manageable, and the question banks are excellent for practice.
I was extremely nervous going into the exam, just as I always am before any exam. I had spent so much time going over the content, making sure I understood every detail. When the results email came through, I could hardly believe it. I had scored 100%. It was a massive confidence boost and a relief to know the work paid off.
At the same time, it made me realise that I might be spending too long on each subject. The depth of preparation was reassuring, but I need to get through the other exams more quickly and keep up the momentum. For now though, I am just pleased to have Air Law behind me and to feel that much closer to going solo.
